Established on the 6th of October 1987, Maxcap Electronics is the first manufacturer of axial, radial and snap-in type of aluminum electrolytic capacitors in the northern region of Malaysia. Our product ranges from 0. 47mF to 18, 000mF with a working voltage ranging from 6. 3V to 450V and working temperature ranges from - 55 centigrade degree to + 125 centigrade degree. We also produce bi-polar capacitors for audio crossover networks and TV monitor horizontal deflection.
MAXCAP, a customer oriented company, is a joint venture of Taiwanese and Malaysian businessmen. MAXCAP developed from humble beginnings with only US million in its treasury as paid up capital, which after one year had been increased to US million. It started initially with only four production lines. Ten years after, due to the escalating sales growth, the number of production lines had been gradually increased to twenty-two. The sales turnover had been increased from RM3 million in 1988 to RM13 million in 1997. Our annual sales turnover is about US million.
In anticipation of increase in domestic and overseas demand for our products, the company is in the midst of building a new factory in China, which will be fully operational by year 2001.
With strong commitment to higher technology, under the dynamic direction of Mr. Soo Hoo Cheong Theem, vice-president of the company, MAXCAP had grown from supporting a manual work environment to mechanized work environment and now partially automated work environment. Hopefully, in the near future, 100% automated work environment.
For more than a decade now, assurance of our products\' quality accounts for our sustained sales growth. Equipped with high grade imported raw materials coming from different dependable companies and backed by Taiwanese and Japanese modern technologies in the manufacturing facilities ensure our excellent quality.
With the additional of an X-ray machine, our quality standard took another step forward. The machine made diagnosing task easier, time-saving, effective and efficient.

With the help of our dedicated employees, to whom the company credits its success, obtained the ISO9002 accreditation last November 6, 1998, which meant that we had already elevated ourselves to international quality status.
