Maria\'s Food Group was inaugurated in Hong Kong in 1966. In the last 40 years, Maria\'s food products have been well received in the USA, Canada, Taiwan, Guangdong and Shanghai. Maria\'s specializes in Hong Kong style crusines and delicacies. Managers and technicians trained by Maria\'s have proliferated the whole foods industry popularizing the trend of Hong Kong style delicacies worldwide.
In 2001, Hong Kong Maria\'s Foods Holdings Ltd incorporated its solely owned subsidiary- Beijing Maria\'s Gourmet Foods Co. Ltd in Beijing. Maria\'s introduced imported production lines from Japan and Taiwan as well as deployed qualified technicians and professionals from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Guangdong and Shanghai to staff its Beijing operation. Maria\'s specializes in western style chocolates and bakery delicacies as well as Hong Kong style moon cakes and New Year puddings. It provides customers with a wider choice of the most authentic Hong Kong style cake and delicacies.
Incorporating advanced western technologies and quality standards, Maria\'s built its 22, 000 sq. meter factory in Beijing in 2001. The whole manufacturing process has been designed to operate in germless environment and spotless hygienic conditions. Workers insist on double clothes change and the factory is sterilized twice daily to ensure quality and hygienic are up to State requirements. The vast production capability will guarantee supply to meet short-time large orders.
Maria\'s was accredited for International Standards Organization Quality Standards (ISO 9001) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in 2004. In 2005, the State Bureau of Commodity Inspection further accredited it for Food Export Quality Inspection Certification.
