Our marine power mutual inductor is used in AC circuits of 50-60Hz 500V or below for measuring voltage and power energy and relay protection. The iron core of the mutual inductor is C-shaped with cold rolled silicon steel plate. The erection support and binding posts are tied by tin-coated steel belt and tin-welded. Primary and secondary coils slip on the central posts of two C iron cores.
The mutual inductor can be long used in 110% rated voltage circuits and when the secondary load is the largest capacity, its temperature increase of the coils is lower than 60潞C. Mutual inductor shall stand insulation voltage withstanding test: When 3000V is applied between primary coil and secondary coil as well as the ground and 2000V between the secondary coil and the ground for 1 minute, no breakthrough and flashover shall occur.
