GENERAL INFORMATION:
High alumina firebricks are classified according to alumina content ranging from 48% to 95%, manufactured from such mineral as bauxite, corundum, etc. By mixing, press-forming, drying, sintering and machining.
High alumina bricks feature stable mechanical strength and good thermal shock resistance, with high refractoriness of no lower than 1750ºC.
They are commonly used as refractory lining exposed to heat directly or backup insulation linings in various types of industrial kiln or laboratory furnace.
ADVANTAGES:
Low thermal conductivity
High refractoriness
Excellent acid and base slagging resistance
Excellent thermal shock resistance
Excellent mechanical strength
Non standard sizes and shapes are available upon reques
APPLICATIONS:
Blast furnace
Hot-blast stove
Annealing furnace
Laboratory furnace
Cement kiln
Electric stove roof and ladle backup layer
