[DRUG NAME] Generic Name: Cefalexin Trimethoprim Capsules
[INDICATIONS] It is indicated for the treatment of the following infection caused by sensitive bacteria. Respiratory infections: Cold secondary infections, acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, amygdalitis, and laryngopharyngitis, etc.; Urinary tract infections: Nephropyelitis, urethritis, cystitis, and gonorrhea; Infections in mouth, ears, nose and throat: Acute and chronic otitis media, nasosinusitis, acute infections in alveolus dentalis, periodontitis, etc.; Other infections including gynecological infections, skin soft tissue infections, meningitis, and endocarditis.
[INGREDIENTS] Compound preparation containing cefalexin and trimethoprim.
[DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION] For adults: 1~2 capsules to be taken orally with empty stomach 4 times a day; For children: Reduced dose is recommended or as directed by the physiain.
[ADVERSE REACTIONS] Decreased food appetite, skin rash, pruritus, drug fever and other reactions were occasionally reported. These reactions were gone when stopping taking it.
[CONTRAINDICATIONS] Hypersensitivity to cephalosporin or patients with allergic shock or immediate reaction to penicillin.
[PREGNANCY AND NURSING MOTHERS] This product can penetrate placenta and be excreted in milk. Therefore pregnant women and nursing mothers must be cautious in taking this medicine.
