Summary:
GPS series motorized valves are used for controlling the fan coil in the central air-conditioning system or the cold/hot water flux of the heating equipment. The thermostat controls the motor of the motorized valve, and the motor controls the open or close of the valve through the retarding mechanism and reset spring to achieve the flow or cut-off of the cold/hot water in the pipes so as to reach the set indoor temperature.

Instruction for operation and installation
1. The pressure difference between the inlet pipe and the return pipe of the main set should be controlled within 0. 08Mpa.
2. The location of the motorized valve should be decided for the purpose of easy installation and convenient maintenance. In order to ensure the normal working of the motorized valve, a relief valve should be installed on the lower stories of a tall building.
3. When installing the motorized valve, keep it level, that is, the motor should be placed above the valve body to avoid getting wet.
4. For installation of the two-way valve, End B is the inlet mouth and End A outlet(The marks of A and B are on the bottom of the valve body, please refer to the figure).
5. For installation of the three-way motorized valve, the inlet mouth is at the bottom of the valve (no marks on it). Note: End B of the valve is the constantly-closed end and End A is the constantly-open end. Please refer to the figure when installing.
6. When the motorized valve is needed to be opened by hand (refer to figure), the manual rod should be pushed outward lightly and slowly. When the rod is above the bayonet, press down lightly to place it into the bayonet. Now the valve is entirely open. If the rod is moved upward, the valve can automatically return to its original position with the help of the spring, and the motorized valve can work in the normal way again. |
