XyRun stockroom inventory software, I-Controller, is a flexible, affordable, easy-to-use off-the-shelf barcode-based tracking solution. xyRun I-Controller maintains a perpetual inventory so that when items are received, inventory levels go up and when items are issued, inventory levels decrease. Reorder points, expiration dates, lots code, usage by person or department are all tracked and written to history.
I-Controller can be used by laboratories, office managers, hospitals, healthcare, government agencies, mom and pop companies, and anyone else who need to track on hand quantities, reorder points and any type of item that needs to be tracked. Its uses are universal and are limited only by the imagination.
I-Controller supports many companies who need a stand alone receipt and issue Inventory Control system. Any company that wants to track items within their four walls can use I-Controller. To integrate inventory with purchase orders and sales orders, XyRun recommends either Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, Picking (ISRP) or Warehouse Management System (WMS). By employing MS SQL Server, xyRun software can supports more users, provide superior local and wide-area network performance, centralize database administration and allow users to maintain longer history and larger data tables.
I-Controller supports unlimited sites, locations, and items, so that you can manage an unlimited number of items at unlimited sites and locations.
All software fields are user-definable
Users can create custom reports, forms, and queries with database.

Handheld portable scanner support
For larger organizations, I-Controller combines barcode and RFID data collection with a high-speed, high-capacity network database for processing more transactions, and storing more data objects. A simple pointing and scanning can issue, receive, and conduct an inventory.

xyRun with SQL is able to maintain and synchronize large amounts of data while giving the local user access the central database and portable data.
