Our company produces and supplies various kinds of tempered glass, using clear or different tinted sheet, with our horizontal tempering furnaces, Also we produce tempered glass with printed sheets, such as printed patterns or trade marks on them. We have a special bending tempering furnace to produce curved tempered glass, also with printed patterns on the sheet The maximum size of tempered glass is 2000 x 3000 mm and thickness range is 3. 0- 19 mm.
Tempered glass is high strengthened glass. Comparing with the ordinary glass, its bent-strength and impact-strength would be increased by about 3-5 times and its capability of resisting temperature change would be increased by nearly 3 times. It shows excellent safety performance since it would break into certain amount of small and non-sharp fragments while being damaged by a super great force so that avoid human to be injured. There are strict rules and regulations home and abroad which stipulate that safety glass must be used at the particular positions of a building, such as door, Window, curtain wall and ceiling, as well as entrance and exit of public places.
1. FRAGMENT
Glass thickness ≥5 mm:
Fragment amount within a 50 x 50 mm urea of each sample must be 40 or more.
Lamp-glass: Fragment amount must be more than 100.
2. THERMOSTABILITY TEST
Heat the sample in a dryer to 200º C and keep it at this temperature for half an hour. Then put it quickly into water of 25Tº C. The sample would not be broken.
3 MECHANICAL STRENGTH
3. 1 Average bend-strength of 5 mm tempered glass would not be less than 200 Mpa (N/M2).
3. 2 Sample with a size of 610x610 mm would be impacted by a steel ball with weight of 1040g and diameter of 63. 5 mm. Dropping gravitatively from a height of 1000 mm. The sample would not be broken.
