PTFE molecular formula is and ts molecular weight is over 500,000-1000,000.With difluorochloromethane as raw material and through cracking, the monomer of tetrafluoroethylene is produced. After distillation and purification, then polymerization, the PTFE resin is got.
Features:
PTFE is no odor, no smell, no toxicity and no combustion and has excellent thermal stability and electric insulating property. These properties are beyond compared by other synthetic materials. So it is well known as "king of plastic". The mechanical strength of PTFE is better. Its cold-flow property is bigger. Much attention should be taken when select. Moreover the friction coefficiency of PTFE is very low and itsadhesive resistant and physiologic-noble are good.
Use:
PTFE is wide used to electrical industry, aerospace industry, electronics industry, meters and instruments industry and computer industry, etc. Used as insulating layers of cables and wires for electric source and signal because it has excellent properties. Because PTFE is no toxicity and physiologicnoble and anti-adhesive, it may be used for treating many medical appliance in order to prevent from pollution, and its articles and fibre clothes may be used for making artificial organs and blood vessel, etc. The solid content of dispersion concentrated liquid is about 60% and the content of non-ionic surface-active agent in it is about 5%, and the other is water. The dispersion concentrated liquid of PTFE can be used for dipping, coating and spinning.
