The MAC is an important intermediate, could be widely used in organic synthesis. In the argo-chemicals, it could be synthesis acaricide such as carbonfuran. It's the intermediate of Sodium methyl acrylate sulfonate which could improve the acrylonitrile fibre's chromaticity, called "the third monomer "of nitrilon. It's special meaning in the synthetic fibre industry. Also it can be made epoxy resin. The dimmer of MAC could be used as clarifier and solvent of synthetic resin with natural resin. Besides, it can be used to create methyl-glycerin,methyl-allyl-alcohol etc and used as an intermediate in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, flavouring as well as plant protection products.
